General impression about student: The student shows a good foundation for A2 level but still needs a bit more work to reach a solid and confident A2. She attempted to answer all the questions, which shows willingness and effort. Although she sometimes struggled with understanding or expressing more detailed ideas, she could usually communicate her main message. While there were frequent mistakes, her intentions were generally clear. With some focused practice, she’s not far from reaching a consistent A2 level.

Feedback about Vocabulary: The student can use basic vocabulary to express simple ideas, but her range is still limited. Some common lexical mistakes were observed, such as using “myself” instead of “for myself,” “travel” instead of “trip,” “hear” instead of “listen,” and “because” instead of “that’s why.” These errors slightly affect clarity but are typical at this level and can be corrected with more input and practice. Expanding her vocabulary will help her express more complex ideas and speak with greater accuracy.

Feedback about Grammar: There were both minor and major grammar errors throughout the conversation. In particular, she had difficulties with verb patterns (gerund vs infinitive), prepositions, and basic sentence structures like using “I and my friends” instead of the correct word order. She also often forgot the verb “to be” in present simple and made errors in past simple forms. Mistakes like “I don’t abroad” and using “not” instead of “don’t” were also present.

Feedback about Pronunciation: No mistakes.

Feedback about Listening: The student struggled to understand many of the questions. It was often necessary to rephrase or even translate the questions for her to respond. She occasionally misunderstood the question and gave an unrelated answer. Improving listening skills will be essential for her to follow and participate in conversations more effectively.

Feedback about Speaking pace: Slow.

Feedback about Conversation flow the ability to carry out the conversation: She was able to maintain a basic level of conversation and did her best to respond, even when unsure. However, natural conversation flow was affected by her limited vocabulary and grammar. The student often paused to think before answering, which is normal at this stage, but it also slowed down the interaction slightly.

Feedback about Pauses: The student pauses often in order to think of the answer.

Feedback about Ability of self-correction while speaking: I did not notice this ability.

Feedback about The ability to get really in depth into topics:
At this stage, the student is not yet able to discuss topics in depth. She can answer simple, direct questions but lacks the language resources to develop her ideas further or express more complex opinions. With time and vocabulary expansion, she will become more confident in discussing a wider range of subjects.
